for the special day

been away from home for two years made us miss the food so much. at some special days like Eid, I used to cooked them just to cherish the day and enjoy the foods with friends and family.

this meatball called “bakso“. served with clear tasty soup, slices of fried shallots and spring onion. best if you add soy and chilli sauce.

kaastengels, very cheesy cookies originally comes from netherland. when they colonize our country long time a go, the culture of baking this cookies being inherited to our ancestors. nowadays it become our must-haves cookies in our table every Eid day. and so far that i know, we can’t find kaastengels anymore on its origin country.

rendang, a very tasty chilli beefy dish. took a long time to cook this, so you better like it. hahaa! best served with warm rice.

indonesian chicken curry (opor ayam) with yellow rice (rice cooked with coconut milk and turmeric), a very perfect food combination since i was a kid.

putri salju keju, a bit strange if translated to english it would called “cheesy snow white” 😀

another must-haves cookies for us.
